My Philosophies : I believe in the spirit in all things.
I’ve had a life long love affair with the occult (i.e. the magical, the metaphysical, astrology, numerology, everyone’s innate psychic
ability (that so few of us trust), the supernatural, the Shamanic, the veiled, the unknown, the mysterious.
I’m fascinated by the theory of vibration - that every thing in the universe has a distinct vibration, that contact between vibrations causes change
and therefore, by ripple effect, subtly effects all things in the universe - the butterfly effect.
I’m excited by the esoteric idea that everything from pegs to celestial bodies has a layering of meaning and import but, just like the symbols in dreams,
they are mostly appreciated at a subconscious (or super-conscious) level.
I love anything that uplifts or empowers the spirit - that heals.

I have been designing jewelry since 1992. Every design is an original, never to be repeated art piece.

From the beginning I’ve always worked with the healing energies of precious and semi precious stones and metals but never as completely as now.

As I have stated in my philosophies I am fascinated by the esoteric nature of things - the magical, the hidden, underlying meanings that were revered by the Ancients but are almost totally overlooked by modern society. Still, most of us wear rings (symbols of eternity and unity) and many of us have our "lucky" objects, or wear religious symbols. I believe the subtle energies of stones and symbols affect us without us even knowing but are strongly enhanced by our conscious awareness.

I craft antique and exotic treasures from all over the world into necklaces designed to bring awareness of these wisdoms and energies. I use antique tribal silver, vintage beads, sterling silver and semi precious stones weaving all of the meaning of the minerals, the symbols and numerology into each individual piece.

My tools and ritual objects emerge from a much deeper, more primal place. Working with natural materials like antler, bone, leather, feathers and crystal brings an earth connection, a sacred, shamanic energy. These items are beautiful and can be viewed simply as art objects but when used as energy tools they hold great power to connect to and direct healing energy and transmute negative energy.

Art, healing, mystery, magic and power - these are the things that I attempt to infuse into my jewellery and tool making. It is a bringing together of my life
experiences and my joys.

Each of my works is individually crafted, made with great love and attention to its beauty and energetic nuances and is as absolutely
original & unique as the person who will own it.

All Karen Pike necklaces come with a certificate of authenticity which contains all of the information regarding its energetic nature.
Use of native feathers is under license from NSW NPWS.
